1. "Peanut"—The Pocket-Sized Cuddler
A teacup Yorkie, such as Peanut, adores close proximity and will gladly snuggle in your palm for hours. They're very affectionate, even sleeping on top of you to keep warm—tiny bodies rapidly lose heat otherwise. Due to their fragile size (less than 4 lb), you'll have to keep soft blankets on hand and the ambient temperature over 70°F when they sleep to avert hypothermia.
2. "Button" – The Energetic Explorer
Despite being a teacup Yorkie, Button has unlimited energy in a tiny body. The puppies are extremely courageous and inquisitive, and they'll take a leap at exploring every corner of your house. Keep a close eye on Button during playtime to ensure her safety. Low hurdles or falls merely inches high can result in an injury.
3. "Pip"—The Toy-Loving Trickster
A teacup Yorkie-like Pip is highly intelligent and enjoys playtime. Playtime becomes mind-stimulating as they easily learn to bring back toys in a small enough size within a short time. Provide chew toys meant for little mouths to protect baby teeth and prevent choking.
4. "Dainty" – The Fashionista
Dainty, the teacup Yorkie, enjoys a costume change—bows, dresses, and harnesses turn into fashion statements on her wee body. Monthly gentle baths, with trims every 6–8 weeks, keep her smooth coat ready to show without upsetting her delicate skin.
5. "Nugget" – The Mini Lap Warmer
Nugget, a calm teacup Yorkie, can soothe you to sleep with calming sighs once they are on your lap. As they prefer napping all the time, provide low, firm stools or lap blankets to prevent sliding and give small joints freedom of movement.
6. "Milo" – The Social Butterfly
Tiny but not shy, Milo the teacup Yorkie greets new people (and even other animals) with tail-wagging friendliness. Early socialization—brief playdates with friends and gradual exposure to noises—keeps that friendly demeanor without the fear.
7. "Tiny" – The Alarm Clock
Don't be misled by the name: Tiny the teacup Yorkie views daylight as a cue to "yip" you awake for breakfast. A daily schedule of eating and sleeping (e.g., 7 am, 12 pm, and 5 pm meals) teaches Tiny when to anticipate food and sleep.
8. "Coco" – The Gourmet's Companion
Teacup Yorkie Coco will graciously (and insistently) try a bite of your snack—simply cut snacks into pea-sized pieces to prevent choking and overindulgence. A premium small-breed formula, with plenty of protein and wholesome fats, fuels their rapid metabolism.
9. "Pebble" Adventure Traveler
Pebble, my brave teacup Yorkie, fits nicely into a soft-sided carrier and goes with you wherever you go. Tire them out before any flight, make sure they have taken care of business, and utilize an approved cabin carrier with good ventilation.
10. "Gizmo" – The Little Protector
Gizmo is a teacup Yorkie, yet they bark as boldly as a full-grown guard dog when they see someone coming. Obedience training that rewardingly reinforces quieting on command with gentle reinforcement will control excessive barking while still allowing them to keep their watchdog tendencies.
